Coming home tonight, the moon was larger than usual, and just behind the Superga Church. So I set up the tripod risking my life, and there it is! :D

(the picture is actually 2 shots of the same scene combined in one, this is, however, exactly how it looked).

What can I say... a nice view from my window. And the square building is the ugly Torre Littoria. I think some relative of mine worked to build it in the 20's.

I think i start to see the point of cameraphones (even if mine sucks).

This was on the way to the supermarket... the sign reads:

"If I ever find out who closes my mirrors, I will repeatedly kick him in the groin".

(ok, that's the general meaning... it's not put down so politely ... :D )

We went inside this museum in budapest... it was rented for the wedding of a local mafia man, we think...

At the door there were armed men, then huge gorillas (they looked like overweight retired russian boxers)... some 20 waiters were employed and a band playing some mandolin music...

It's been around for a while: a technique that turns your pictures into fake miniature models...

(Ok, it was some bright guy's idea with a proper tilt-shift lens, then we followed, the poor photoshop users...)

anyway, there's a tutorial here!

In the picture, Olympia Stadion in Helsinki - does it look a bit like a miniature? (say yes, please!)

Pessimism seems like a common hobby here in the Land of the Sun. Recently our mandolino players are getting more and more melancholic and the pizza makers are depressed too.

Economy is disastrous, the land is scarred by building sites everywhere, fears of a financial breakdown _Argentinian style_ are spreading all over the sunny bootshaped country...

So, waiting for the mighty chinese army to conquer and destroy us, the typical Italian youngster can just sit and feel sad... Just like in the picture.

Sometimes it works: this time I think it was worth to go up there with camera and stuff, develop the slides, send it to the lab, scan the print...

Mm it would be a lot easier with some Ã¢â€šÂ¬2000 digital reflex... anyone feels like donating? :)

Questa foto l'ho fatta a Torino, sul lungo Po. Mi piace, mi sembra finalmente una foto decente. Allora la propongo per una specie di mostra dell'universitÃƒÂ ... Risultato: negativo perso! (proprio adesso che abbiamo finalmente messo su la camera oscura!) Sfiga nera e parolacce assortite.
