Probably you know already, but there's this movement called Fon, where you basically share your wireless internet access at home, and in return you can use the one from other members all around the world!

Sounds great, but for this to work you need a certain kind of wi-fi router (it must be of a specific brand), in order to run their special firmware... or you could win one! :D

They had this "competition" where you could send them a picture of the street you live in, and if it's busy enough, and you're fast enough, you get a free fon-ready router! (and some stickers...) :D

So I sent this one, and it's coming by the end of may! COOL!!

It's somehow strange... about 2/3 of the winners are from Italy.. and so many from Torino! I guess we can't resist free things!
