rabbit bridge

For some reason, this picture came to my mind today. Good pictures are said to tell stories, and this kinda does. (it needs help, anyway... :) )

There's this bridge in St.Petersbourg, where you get a tiny statue of a rabbit on a pole, just aside the bridge.

It brings you luck, they say, if you manage to toss a coin and make it stop just in front of the rabbit, on the top of the pole.

But, if you don't, then you'll just make the two children in the background happier. They are harvesting the unlucky's money.

ADD ON: I know there's a SLIGHT halo on the left of the image. The reason is that this is a scan from a Black&White tryout: so please excuse it... Or just imagine I was using a Lomo or Helga or something like that! :)
